Respite care provider for a 13 year old autistic boy – Oxnard

A missionary couple is coming with their family to CA from OH for summer training.  Their son, Micah, has autism/PDD and needs a care giver to provide assistance in 3 general arenas: 1) Transport to and from therapy sessions in Ventura County; 2) Tutoring Micah in simple lesson plans; and 3) Providing personal care outside of the previous 2 arenas.

While the hours will fluctuate from one week to the next you will generally work 25-35 hours per week, gas and meals will be provided while you are working.  Service dates will cover June 25-August 7.  Applicants will need to be of good health, have a drivers license, their own vehicle, health insurance, and be willing to cover a background check.   Based on a successful working relationship, we will be happy to provide a letter of reference to any future employer.
